Flying Tigers 69th DRS Association in support of Chennault Aviation Academies proudly shares several opportunities to support the aviation community.
We trust your donations will help educate and train future aviators who embody Genereal Chennault’s legacy.
FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS:
Over the next 20 years the US will need 700,00 aviation maintenance technicians (currently, only 3% are women), 550,000 pilots and over 1 million flight crews.
There are three ways you can support these education and employment efforts to keep the planes flying and ensure the safety of the public: Scholarships, Sponsorships and Naming Rights.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
Chennault 69th DRS Scholarship Fund awards serve two different educational areas. First, A & P Maintenance Technicians and second, Pilots. Under this fund, graduates of foster care and underserved communities are eligible for full awards. All others are eligible for partial awards.
A&P MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
This program offers full benefits of the CAMA training program and includes the following:
- “Hands-on” training in a Real Airport Environment.
- Preparation for FAA A&P certification testing
- Graduates are eligible to transfer credits to Purdue Global for an AA degree program
- Graduates with FAA Certification in A&P will be eligible to interview with Chennault Aviation Academy or Chennault Aviation Maintenance Services for job opportunities.
PROGRAM COST & DETAILS:
IN-PERSON TRAINING – all training taught at CAA facilities:
- Program length: 18 months
- Up-front payment: $43K (includes $2,000 discount for full payment)
- Pay-as-you-go option*: $45K
HYBRID PROGRAM – Lectures and theory completed online. Assessments and hands-on training at CAA facilities:
- Program length: Flexible, depending on individual participant’s availability.
- Up-front payment: $33K (includes $2,000 discount for full payment)
- Pay-as-you-go option*: $35K
* Pay-as-you-go options are for students who do not have scholarship awards or other funding options.
Full award scholarships are available for qualified foster care and underserved communities students.
HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM – Choose Aerospace.
Juniors and Seniors are eligible to apply and join the A&P Technician program. Upon graduation, they receive their diploma and will join the CAA A&P program with having completed 500 hours of the General A&P program. The fee per student per year is $295.00.
PILOT TRAINING:
This program offers full benefits of the CAA training program and includes the following:
- Flight training at CAA private air field
- Pilot Training Bundle and Study Materials
- Flight ratings necessary to start an airline career
- Eligible to be a flight instructor after the first year
- College degree programs with Emory Riddle University or Purdue Global are available with 2-years of flight training credits
- Dedicated Training Strategy Tailored to Each Individual Student
- Flexible Training Schedule
- One-on-one Instructions
- Guaranteed Interview for a CAA Flight Instructor Position
- Pilot Certifications through Commercial and Certificated Flight Instructor:
- Private Pilot Certificate (PPL) – Single Engine Land (ASEL)
- Instrument Rating – Single and Multi Engine Land (ASEL)
- Multi-Engine Rating
- Commercial Pilot Certificate – Single and Multi Engine Land (ASEL)
- Certified Flight Instructor – Single-Engine, Multi-Engine, and Instrument
PROGRAM COST & DETAILS:
- Program length: Self-paced
- Cost of fuel is included in tuition
- Certifications are through Commercial and Certificated Flight Instructor
- $75K
SPONSORSHIPS:
SKILLS TEAM:
- 4 competitions per year: MRO, Metal Bashers, PAMA Olympics, and Verticon
- $25K per competition
SPECIAL EVENTS AT CAA:
- Women in Aviation host Girls in Aviation
- Summer Aerospace Camp – July 13-17, 2026, ages 14 and up – $75 per person
- Open houses
- Job fairs
- Star Wars Night – Flying Tigers meet Starfighter Corp.
NAMING RIGHTS:
Donate as a Corporation or Individual.
- Educational Building – $1.5M
- Classroom or Break Area – $75K
- Student Housing (Dorms or Individual) – TBA

Financial donations will support the Chennault 69th DRS Scholarship Fund, sponsorship and naming rights. Donations of equipment and materials support students in their classroom training.
Corporate Scholarship Donors: Each corporation that donates full ride scholarships will have the opportunity to interview and choose which students they want to support with their education and possible future employment. Corporations have the opportunity to invite their winners to spend time each quarter visiting their facility.
